    Who You Are:PSI is seeking to hire a Traffic Analysis/Modeling Project Manager with knowledge and experience in traffic analysis and modeling. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience performing traffic engineering related tasks, and a Civil Engineering degree.

    Responsibilities:

    • Perform and manage production of traffic engineering studies, analysis, and modeling including projects like traffic simulation, traffic demand modeling, and traffic impact studies
    • Lead and mentor a team of engineers and designers, providing technical guidance, professional development, and performance management.
    • Review and provide technical guidance on analysis and modeling submissions prepared by junior engineers and external consultants.
    • Help perform quality control review for the work performed by junior engineers and peer senior engineers.
    • Learn and use readily available resources, standards, and reference materials to provide the best quality design deliverables.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelors in Civil Engineering.
    • 8+ years of traffic analysis and modeling experience.
    • Strong communication skills
    • Ability and desire to operate professionally in a team environment
    • Strong Experience in traffic simulation software such as VISSIM and/or Synchro

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • P.E. in D.C., MD, or VA
    • Proven track record of successfully delivering complex transportation analysis projects on time, within budget, and to client satisfaction.
    • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
    • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical information to diverse stakeholders.
    • Experience with DDOT, VDOT, MDOT, and/or Virginia/Maryland projects.
    • M.S. Degree in Civil Engineering
