As a Trailer Mechanic, you'll be responsible for the preventive maintenance and repair of trailers in our growing fleet. Your tasks will include servicing trailer components, repairing electrical parts, and ensuring compliance with U.S. Department of Transportation road safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on trailer equipment according to company and factory standards.
  • Report to the Service Manager for daily task assignments.
  • Inspect trailers, diagnose malfunctions, and plan necessary repairs.
  • Repair electrical components, including lights, wiring circuits, brakes, and PTOs.
  • Document repairs and submit accurate reports in the mobile service program.
  • Perform safety inspections, ensuring trailers meet all required safety standards.
  • Lubricate moving parts and test trailers to ensure performance meets specifications.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and report any safety hazards.
  • Follow federal, state, and local regulations, including OSHA standards.
  • Maintain productivity and quality of work in a timely manner.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
  • Basic computer proficiency
  • Basic math and communication skills
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening
  • Ability to read, write, and follow verbal instructions
Physical Requirements:
  • Frequent movement, standing, walking, climbing, bending, and sitting for extended periods.
  • Use hands to grasp, handle, or operate tools and controls.
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions.
  • Able to see and hear to navigate a busy work environment.
  • Lift and move up to 50lbs (23kg) regularly.
  • Moderate noise level in the work environment.


Pay Range: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
