Training Coordinator

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Pay: $ $55,000 - $60,000/year, DOE

Job Summary

The Training Coordinator plays a vital role in the development and execution of engaging training programs. This position involves scheduling and managing ongoing classes and career development events in person and virtually. Position oversees the Learning Management System (LMS), creating training materials, coordinating on-site and off-site training sessions, and supporting job placement for trained individuals. The ideal candidate for this role will be well-organized, detail-oriented, and enthusiastic about adult learning. This candidate will be responsible for leading, teaching and assisting some of the classes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver training programs as per management direction
  • Manage the Learning Management System (LMS) and design interactive training materials
  • Prepare for and facilitate training sessions both on-site and off-site
  • Support the establishment of internal standard operating procedures
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify training needs and formulate training plans
  • Coordinate training schedules, resources, and logistics for various training programs
  • Create training materials, presentations, and assessments for training sessions
  • Assist in maintaining training records and monitoring employee progress and development
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and recommend enhancements
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in training and development
  • Assist students in getting jobs after graduating from training through multiple job support functions including resumes, interview skills and connecting students with employers

Qualifications

  • Preferred Master's Degree in Logistics, Construction, Business or related field
  • Preferred Bilingual in English and Spanish
  • Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Construction, Business or related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Logistics, Construction, Business, Education or related field
  • Previous experience in coordinating training programs and career fairs
  • Strong organizational skills, time management abilities, and attention to detail
  • Basic understanding of Human Resource management practices; HR experience is advantageous
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience working with diverse populations
  • Position is onsite in Dallas, TX; no remote work available
  • AI proficient
