Production Training Coordinator – Bakery Operations

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Production Training Coordinator to support employee training and development within a bakery manufacturing facility.

This position is responsible for developing and improving training processes, streamlining new-hire training, and maintaining accurate training documentation. The individual will work closely with production employees to understand operational procedures and ensure training processes are effective and consistent.

Approximately 80% of the role will be spent on the production floor, and the individual must be willing and able to learn and perform all production positions within the facility.

Reports To: Bakery Leader

Key Responsibilities

Training & Development

• Develop and implement training processes and procedures for bakery production operations.

• Streamline and improve the training process for newly hired employees.

• Learn all production positions within the bakery to understand job responsibilities and operational requirements.

• Support consistent and effective training practices throughout the production facility.

Training Documentation & Administration

• Maintain, organize, and update employee training files and records.

• Ensure training documentation is accurate, complete, and properly maintained.

• Utilize computer systems to support training administration and recordkeeping.

Production Floor Support

• Spend approximately 80% of working hours on the production floor.

• Become familiar with all production roles, processes, and procedures within the facility.

• Work closely with production personnel to understand training needs and operational expectations.

• Perform production duties as necessary to develop knowledge of each position.

Required Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Computer proficiency and ability to maintain accurate training documentation.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability and willingness to learn and perform all production positions within the bakery.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced bakery manufacturing environment.

Physical Requirements

Candidates must be able to perform the physical responsibilities associated with production positions, including:

• Standing for extended periods.

• Pushing and pulling materials or equipment.

• Lifting up to 50 pounds.

• Stacking boxes up to 7 feet high.

• Working primarily on the production floor.
