Training Manager

In this pivotal role, you will lead our company's training initiatives, guiding new hires through a robust onboarding journey and ensuring ongoing skills development for all employees. Collaborating with department heads, you'll craft role-specific training schedules and checklists. Responsibilities include delivering comprehensive training sessions on safety protocols, company policies, and specialized skills for production roles such as blueprint reading and MIG welding. You will conduct skills assessments, observe employee readiness, and authorize independent work when appropriate. Further, you'll design continuous learning opportunities, update compliance training incorporating OSHA guidelines, and oversee the tracking of certifications. Your expertise will be key in coordinating education for new tools and processes, assessing training efficacy, and refining programs based on performance data. You will also be tasked with maintaining and enhancing training materials and documentation, promoting a safe and compliant work environment, and proactively addressing potential safety issues. Candidates should have a bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Business, or a related field, with 3-5 years of relevant experience. Experience in delivering technical training across various sectors and knowledge of compliance requirements is preferred.
