Salary: $105,000-$110,000, with flexibility based on experience

About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Training Specialist / Training Lead to help build and enhance training programs for a growing manufacturing operation. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys developing people, creating effective training programs, and improving how employees are prepared for success on the production floor.

You'll partner with Operations, EHS, Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, and HR to strengthen onboarding, technical training, employee qualifications, and workforce development.

What You'll Do

• Develop and improve manufacturing training programs, curriculum, and learning materials.
• Create competency-based and foundational training for new and existing employees.
• Lead and enhance new-hire onboarding and orientation.
• Identify skill gaps and develop training to support workforce growth.
• Maintain skills matrices, certifications, qualifications, and training records.
• Partner with operational teams on technical, safety, quality, and compliance training.
• Support hands-on trainers and training coordinators.
• Track training effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Administer training through an LMS and support Workday Learning initiatives.
• Develop scalable training methods beyond traditional one-on-one instruction.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Organizational Development, Business, Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of training, Learning & Development, workforce development, or related experience.
• Experience developing curriculum and structured training programs.
• Strong knowledge of adult learning and instructional design.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, coaching, and relationship-building skills.
• Manufacturing or industrial training experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with Workday Learning, skills matrices, technical training, Lean/Six Sigma, or qualification programs is a plus.

Pay Details: $105,000.00 to $109,998.00 per year
