A leading independent public accounting and advisory firm is seeking a Transaction Advisory Services Senior or Supervisor to join its growing deal advisory practice. The firm partners with middle-market businesses, private equity sponsors, and closely held companies, providing financial due diligence, transaction support, and strategic advisory services across a variety of industries. Position Overview
The Transaction Advisory Services Senior or Supervisor will play a key role in executing buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence engagements for middle-market transactions. This individual will work directly with private equity firms, business owners, and strategic buyers to evaluate financial performance, identify key risks and opportunities, and provide actionable insights throughout the transaction lifecycle.
Role Responsibilities
Lead and execute financial due diligence engagements for buy-side and sell-side transactions.
Analyze financial statements, Quality of Earnings (QoE), working capital trends, cash flow, and key operating metrics.
Identify and evaluate EBITDA adjustments and other transaction-related considerations.
Prepare and review due diligence reports, financial analyses, and supporting workpapers.
Consult with clients on financial performance, transaction risks, and value drivers.
Manage multiple engagements while maintaining project timelines and deliverables.
Train, mentor, and develop junior team members.
Build strong client relationships and serve as a trusted advisor throughout the transaction process.
Collaborate with senior leadership to identify opportunities to expand services and support business development efforts.
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
CPA license preferred.
4+ years of experience in Transaction Advisory Services, Financial Due Diligence, Audit, or a related consulting environment.
Experience performing Quality of Earnings (QoE) analyses and financial due diligence engagements.
Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting.
Experience working with middle-market businesses, private equity firms, or closely held companies preferred.
Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.
Ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Client-service mindset with a collaborative and entrepreneurial approach.
