Job Summary:

The Transplant Program Director will be reporting to Upstate Transplant Center Administrator and is responsible for the operational, administrative, quality, and regulatory oversight of the transplant outpatient clinic and associated ambulatory services. This individual collaborates closely with transplant administrator, surgeons, nephrologists/hepatologists, advanced practice providers, nursing staff, quality, financial coordinators, social workers, pharmacists, and hospital leadership to ensure high-quality, patient-centered transplant care throughout the pre-transplant and post-transplant continuum. The Transplant Program Director oversees clinic operations, staff performance, patient flow, regulatory compliance, quality improvement initiatives, and financial performance while supporting the mission of the transplant program.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor''s degree in healthcare administration, Nursing, Business Administration, or related field. Minimum 5 years of progressive healthcare management experience, transplant services, specialty clinic operations, or complex multidisciplinary healthcare settings. Knowledge of transplant regulatory requirements and healthcare compliance standards. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Master''s degree in healthcare administration, Business Administration, Nursing, or related field. Experience in academic medical centers or transplant centers, familiarity with EMR systems and transplant databases. Certification in healthcare management or transplant administration
