Responsibilities:

• Monitor pupils and daily school bus activities to ensure proper student conduct at all times and adherence to safe behavior on the bus.
• Know and follow assigned bus routes
• Ensure safe loading and unloading of student on and off the bus
• Verify student use of seat belts as required and assist with securing or removing seatbelts
• Correctly operate a wheelchair life and properly secure all types of wheelchair devices
• Follow manufacturer guidelines for the tie-down of straps and hooks
• Establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with bus drivers, district personnel, students and parents
• Assist passengers during emergencies requiring evacuation of the bus

Salary & Benefits: $20.00/hr. (PRESSA) - Family health benefits
