We're seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Transportation Compliance Manager to join our growing team. In this important role, you'll help oversee regulatory compliance programs, support safety initiatives, and ensure operational practices align with company, state, and federal requirements. Key Responsibilities of a Transportation Compliance Manager:

Compliance & Regulatory Oversight

• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal transportation regulations
• Conduct routine audits, inspections, and compliance reviews
• Monitor company policies and operational procedures to maintain regulatory standards
• Maintain accurate compliance documentation and required records

Driver & Safety Administration

• Manage records related to driver qualifications, certifications, background screenings, and drug testing programs
• Support driver onboarding and compliance verification processes
• Assist with the development and implementation of safety initiatives and best practices
• Promote a strong culture of safety throughout the organization

Incident Management & Corrective Actions

• Investigate accidents, incidents, and compliance-related concerns
• Identify root causes and recommend corrective actions
• Track trends and develop strategies to minimize risk and improve performance
• Prepare reports and documentation for leadership review

Operations Support

• Partner with operations teams to ensure consistent compliance practices across multiple locations
• Provide guidance on regulatory requirements and company policies
• Support safety training and compliance education programs
• Serve as a liaison between management, drivers, and regulatory agencies when necessary

Qualifications of a Transportation Compliance Manager:

• Strong knowledge of DOT regulations, transportation compliance standards, and fleet operations
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in transportation compliance, safety management, fleet operations, or a related field preferred
• Proficiency in maintaining records, reports, and compliance documentation
• Self-motivated with a proactive and results-oriented approach
