About the Role:Fresno CBAS is looking for a dedicated and organized
Part-Time, Transportation Coordinator (Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM) to join our team in Fresno, CA! In this vital role, you'll help ensure our participants get where they need to go safely and on time, making a real difference in the lives of those we serve every day.
Responsibilities:- Coordinate and schedule transportation for program participants to and from the CBAS center
- Communicate with drivers, vendors, and families to ensure timely and accurate pickups and drop-offs
- Maintain accurate transportation logs, records, and route documentation
- Monitor and resolve transportation issues, delays, or schedule changes in real time
- Ensure compliance with transportation safety regulations and company policies
- Collaborate with program staff to accommodate participant needs and special accommodations
- Assist in evaluating and improving transportation routes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness
Requirements:- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
- Prior experience in transportation coordination, logistics, or scheduling
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills with drivers, staff, participants, and families
- Proficiency in scheduling software, spreadsheets, or transportation management systems
- Knowledge of ADA transportation requirements and passenger assistance protocols is a plus
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred to serve our diverse community
