Happymile Logistics is seeking an experienced Transportation Operations Manager to lead daily trucking and driver operations for our growing Houston-based fleet
What You'll Do
- Manage day-to-day transportation, dispatch, and fleet operations
- Supervise CDL drivers, driver scheduling, load planning, and route coordination
- Recruit, onboard, coach, and retain drivers
- Monitor HOS, ELDs, DOT/FMCSA compliance, and safety performance
- Improve fleet utilization, operational efficiency, and on-time service
- Resolve driver, customer, and service-related issues in a fast-paced environment
- Partner with leadership to support operational growth and performance
What We're Looking For
- 10-15 years of General Freight, logistics, transportation, or operations experience
- Experience managing CDL drivers and transportation/fleet operations in a trucking environment required
- Reefer and Dry Van experience
- Knowledge of DOT/FMCSA regulations
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Experience with dispatch systems, ELDs, and transportation software preferred
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
