Key Responsibilities
--Perform design calculations, prepare plans, and guide schematic designs for TxDOT and local government projects.
--Oversee and manage project schedules and financial requirements.
--Apply advanced techniques, theories, principles, and practices within a specialized engineering field and its related sciences and disciplines.
--Collaborate with clients and other consultants as a Project Manager, necessitating effective communication skills.
Independently exercise judgment to evaluate, select, and make substantial adaptations and modifications to standard techniques, procedures, and criteria.
Required Qualifications
--Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering is a mandatory requirement.
--Licensed as a Professional Engineer in the State of Texas.
--A minimum of 10 years of experience, with proficiency in Microstation, Geopak (or Open Roads), and a strong understanding of TxDOT procedures.
