Project Engineer— Job Posting Build communities. Lead with character. Engineer what’s next. The Opportunity Aguirre & Fields is seeking a Project Engineer with 5-10 years of experience in roadway design to lead meaningful civil engineering work that strengthens communities. This role blends technical leadership, project delivery, mentoring, and client service. You’ll partner with Project Managers, Office Team Leads, and project teams to deliver work on schedule, within budget, and with a strong focus on client and staff satisfaction. The Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is a registered Professional Engineer who brings technical depth, clear communication, dependable leadership, and a passion for developing people and solving complex problems.
What You’ll Do Lead Roadway Design tasks for TxDOT, County, City, and Regional Mobility Authorities (RMA) projects. Support project teams in delivering quality engineering work. Coordinate schedules, budgets, priorities, and design deliverables. Apply broad knowledge of principles and practices in roadway design, quality control support, and client-facing communication. Support a positive, high-performing team culture.
