**Exciting Opportunity for Oncology RN in BMT Unit!** **Job Description:** - **Position:** Travel RN - BMT - **Shift:** 7P - 7A - **Location:** Dallas, TX - **Unit:** Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) - **Start Date:** Tuesdays **Unit Profile:** - **Number of Beds:** 40 beds total (20 beds on each floor) - **Patient Ratios:** Target 1:3, stretch 1:4 - **Staffing Description:** - Unit secretaries and tech support available - HUC M-F 7A-3P - 2 Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) in AM, 1 PCT in PM - **Equipment:** - Bedside monitors mounted on walls - Bedside computers - Lift assist devices available - **Documentation System:** Meditech - **Scheduling Requirements:** Rotate weekends - **Floating Policy:** Travelers float first - **Patient Experience Standards:** - Bedside shift report - Safety rounds - Manage team up - No Pass Zone **Qualifications:** - **Certifications Required:** - BLS & ACLS certification - ONS chemotherapy certification - **Skills Needed:** - Oncology experience - BMT experience preferred - Ability to read telemetry and monitor simple titration of drips - Competent in administering chemotherapy - **Advanced Skills:** - Excellent assessment skills **Procedures Performed on Unit:** - Infrequent bone marrow biopsies **Awards/Recognition:** - Five-time accreditation by FACT - Perform autologous and allogeneic transplants, including related, unrelated, haplo-match, and mismatch donors; also CAR-T therapies **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
