Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position requiring cath lab experience and a TX or compact RN license.

Details

• Work in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting with 3 cath labs, 1 EP lab, and 1 hybrid lab
• 13-week contract with 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• 1:1 patient ratios
• Rotating on-call required, including weekends
• Uses Meditech EMR
• Unit staffed with 1 Charge RN, 3 Cath Lab RNs, and 3 CVTs

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Cardiac Cath Lab required
• Experience with cardiac diagnostic procedures, PCI, Impella, IABP, peripheral vascular angiogram/angioplasty, electrophysiology studies, thrombectomy, and implants

Additional Information

• Royal blue scrubs required
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates accepted
• No gaps in work history exceeding 90 days within the past 12 months
