**Ignite Your Nursing Career in Cardiac Care!** **Job Description:** - **Unit Profile:** - Floor: Cardiac IMCU - Trauma Level: 2 - Number of Beds: 36 - **Position Information:** - Role: RN - Specialty: Cardiac and Stepdown - Number of Openings: 3 - Shift: 12-hour shifts (7p-7:30a) - Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36 - Weekend Hours: Every Other Weekend - Call Requirements: Only if census is low - **Required Certifications:** - BLS - ACLS - NIH - **Experience Requirements:** - Minimum 1 year RN experience in PCU or stepdown - Float Requirements: Yes - **Unit Information:** - Patient Ratios: 1:5-6 for cardiac patients; 1:3-4 for PCU/stepdown - Equipment: Telemetry monitoring - EHR: Cerner - Supervisors: Calleigh Gomoll (Manager) & Cherlynn Erickson (Director) - Patient Population: Cardiac patients requiring telemetry and stepdown care - **Hiring Profile:** - **Must-Have Skills/Experience:** - Expertise in cardiac patient populations - Experience with chest tubes, cardiac monitoring, and cardiac drips - **Preferred Skills/Experience:** - PCU/Stepdown patient care - Low-level ICU skills - **Common Diagnoses/Treatments:** - Chest pain, VATS, Stroke/TIA - Pre & Post Open Heart Surgery - Pacemakers, Heart Blocks, Vascular issues, CHF - **Personality Fit:** - Teamwork is essential - **Required Education:** - Associate degree in nursing - **Dress Code:** - Scrub Color: Blue or Navy - Unacceptable Attire: No blue jeans **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
