**Join Our Passionate Team as an RN PCU!** - Exciting opportunity at a 225 bed specialty care hospital - Join our renowned Heart & Vascular Institute, Cancer Center, Brain & Spine, and more - Located in beautiful Marquette, MI, the largest community in the upper peninsula - Experience the charm of Northern Michigan University right at your doorstep **Unit Profile: Cardiac IMCU** - Specialty: Cardiac and Stepdown Care - Number of Openings: 3 - Shift: 12 hour shifts from 7p to 7a - Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36 - Weekend Hours: Every other weekend - Call Requirements: Only if census is low **Required Certifications:** - BLS - ACLS - NIH **Experience Required:** - Minimum 1 year in PCU or stepdown **Float Requirements:** - Yes, ability to float as needed **Unit Information:** - Number of Beds: 36 - Patient Ratios: 1:5-6 for Cardiac patients; 1:3-4 for PCU/stepdown - Equipment: Telemetry monitoring - EHR: Cerner - Supervisors: Calleigh Gomoll (Manager), Cherlynn Erickson (Director) - Patient Population: Cardiac patients, trauma, telemetry **Hiring Profile:** - Must Have Skills/Experience: - Cardiac patient care - Chest tubes, cardiac monitoring, and drips - Experience with stepdown populations - Preferred Experience: - Low level ICU skills - Common Diagnoses/Treatments: - Chest pain, VATS, Stroke/TIA - Pre and Post Open Heart Surgery, Pacemakers, Heart Blocks - Vascular issues, CHF - Personality Fit: - Teamwork is essential **Dress Code:** - Scrub Color: Blue or Navy - Unacceptable Attire: No blue jeans **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
