Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN Case Manager for a 13-week assignment requiring an active NC or compact RN license and 2 years of case management experience.

Details

• Hospital-based case management/utilization review role covering all units
• 815-bed facility with a 1:40 patient ratio
• Documentation performed in Cerner, NATE, and EnsoCare (post-acute systems)
• Self-scheduling with floating required where needed
• Day shift schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with rotating weekdays

Requirements

• Active RN license (NC or Compact) currently in hand
• 2 years of recent case management experience required
• Strong documentation and communication skills required
• Ability to shift attention between multiple tasks
• Ability to build trust with team, patients, and families
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration (no Canadian SSN accepted)
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Work collaboratively with the RN Case Management (RNCM) team within a supportive, team-oriented leadership environment
• Business attire required as the dress code
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates will not be considered
• First-time travelers may be considered for this role
