Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Cath Lab position requiring Cath Lab experience and the ability to take call for STEMI or vascular cases.

Details

• Work in the Cath Lab unit, including Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab settings
• Day shift schedule, 4x10 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• 36 hours per week
• Call requirement of 8-12 days per month for STEMI or vascular cases
• Floating to like units within scope as needed based on facility needs, with brief orientation provided

Requirements

• Active RN license (NM or Compact) required, pending license acceptable if obtained prior to start
• Current certifications: ACLS and BLS required, RCIS preferred
• Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab experience required
• Skilled in cardioversion, circulating procedures, interpretation/management of dysrhythmias, and monitoring procedural sedation
• Experience with diagnostic and interventional catheterizations, left and right heart catheterization, and pulmonary artery line/Swan Ganz monitoring
• Scrub procedures and procedural sedation administration/monitoring preferred
• Epic charting experience preferred

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care in a cardiac catheterization lab setting, including diagnostic and interventional procedures
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility, as locals are not accepted for this position
• Former staff must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler
