Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab RN with at least 2 years of cardiac catheterization lab experience, requiring ACLS and BLS certifications and on-call availability.

Details

• Acute Care hospital setting within the Cath Lab unit
• Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 5x8 hours from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
• On-call required 1-2 days a week plus every 3rd or 4th weekend
• No weekend shift requirement outside of on-call rotation
• No floating required outside of scope
• EPIC charting system used

Requirements

• Active MO or compact RN license required (pending license accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience required, including recovery experience
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Skilled in circulating procedures, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, medication administration, and procedural sedation monitoring

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are accepted for this role
• Navy scrub color required
• Candidates must reside outside a 75-mile radius of the facility
• Standard travelers may work up to 18 months total, followed by a required 3-month break in service
• Permanent employees of the health system must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler
• Maximum of 7 days RTO per 13-week contract, with no RTO allowed during the first week of the assignment
