Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab RN for a day-shift hospital position requiring a CO or compact RN license and at least one year of specialty experience.

Details

• Work in the Cardiac Cath Lab unit of a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule of five 8-hour shifts per week, 40 hours per week
• Uses Epic for charting
• Floating to other departments may be required based on competency and qualifications
• May be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift

Requirements

• Active RN license (CO or compact) required
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association required, not expiring before start date
• ACLS, NRP, or PALS certification required as appropriate for the unit
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in the Cath Lab specialty required
• ASN required; BSN preferred
• Epic charting experience preferred

Additional Information

• Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical tasks in accordance with Board of Nursing standards
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, including health teaching and counseling
• Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Promote the mission, vision, and values of the health system
• Former permanent staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for this travel assignment
