Travel Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Assignment Details:
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Schedule: Full-time: Shift: 2nd Shift
Position Summary:
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides direct patient care and daily living support under the supervision of a licensed nurse. The CNA assists patients with personal needs, monitors their well-being, and helps maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment while promoting dignity and independence.
Responsibilities:
• Assist patients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, feeding, mobility)
• Measure and record vital signs and report changes to the nursing team
• Support nurses and healthcare staff with patient care and procedures
• Maintain cleanliness, comfort, and safety within patient rooms and common areas
• Provide emotional support and ensure patient dignity and respect at all times
Qualifications:
• Active Maine CNA certification (or compact equivalent, if applicable)
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum of 6 months of recent CNA experience (long-term care or hospital setting preferred)
• Compassionate, reliable, and dedicated to quality patient care
