Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for an 11-week travel contract assignment in Parkersburg, West Virginia. The CNA will provide hands-on patient care and support residents in a skilled nursing environment.
This role requires reliability, strong patient care skills, and the ability to work extended daytime shifts in a fast-paced clinical setting.
Key Responsibilities
Assist patients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, feeding)
Monitor and report patient condition changes to nursing staff
Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning
Maintain a clean and safe patient environment
Provide emotional support and companionship
Record basic patient care activities
Follow infection control and safety procedures
Support nursing staff with daily care tasks
Ensure patient comfort, dignity, and safety
Requirements
Active CNA certification required
Minimum 6 12 months CNA experience preferred
Current BLS certification preferred
Experience in skilled nursing setting preferred
Ability to work long daytime shifts (7:00 AM 7:30 PM)
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Must comply with facility health and safety requirements
Valid government-issued photo identification required
COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption may be required
