This is a Pediatric Critical Care Float Pool position, where you will float to various pediatric units including PICU, NICU, Pediatric Med-Surg, Pediatric PACU, Pediatric ED boarders, and postpartum/mother baby. Candidates must have PICU and NICU experience and be comfortable working with pediatric patients. Previous NICU/PICU float pool experience is considered a plus.

Clinical review and auto offer are part of the process. The position requires 36 or 48 hours per week, with every other weekend and holiday required. Please note that block scheduling cannot be accommodated or guaranteed.

Time off can be approved for up to 40 hours, but no requests for time off can be approved during the first two weeks of the assignment. Required certifications include BLS, NRP, ACLS, and PALS. Pediatric PACU experience is highly preferred.

Additionally, candidates must have at least 2 years of PICU experience and Dr. Brown's Infant Driven Feeding Certification is required (can be submitted pending, with a cost of $185). Applicants must adhere to the facility's float policy and can submit with a pending Virginia license. Epic experience is also required.
