Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Critical Care Unit position requiring ICU experience, CRRT competency, and prior travel experience in an acuity adaptable setting.

Details

• Acuity adaptable critical care unit — not a traditional pure ICU setting
• Patient population includes post-cath patients requiring specialized hemodynamic monitoring and intervention
• Competency in sheath pulls and PA catheters required; balloon pump and Swan experience a plus
• CRRT experience required
• EMR: Epic (experience required)
• Schedule: 12-hour day shifts, 07:00–19:30
• Every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH) required
• Floating may be required within skill set, either within the facility or to other sites within 40 miles

Requirements

• Active WI RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current certifications required: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NIH Stroke Scale
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• ICU experience required, including experience with post-cath patients
• CRRT experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Copy of driver's license required for consideration
• Full SSN and full DOB required for consideration

• Provides critical care nursing in an acuity adaptable unit serving complex cardiac and critical patients
• 13-week assignment
