Travel CT Tech - $2,347 per week in Bryan, TX

Job Title: CT Technologist Profession: CT Technologist Specialty: Computed Tomography Duration: 12 weeks Shift: Wednesday/Thursday 12:00 PM - 12:00 AM, Every other Friday/Saturday/Sunday + possible call Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Texas MRT license Certifications: BLS, ARRT (CT) Must-Have: Candidates may not have been previously employed by any facility associated with the health system within the past year. Description: Candidates are expected to float between campuses as needed. Call-outs are strongly discouraged and may lead to termination. Candidates may be asked to precept as needed by the unit. In-house radiology support is available during the day. Virtual radiology support is provided for emergencies during the night. Candidates are required to start IVs. Scanners include GE equipment with various slice capabilities. The average number of scans per day ranges from 16 to 24. EMR and PACS systems used are Meditech and Fuji. Call rotation is every 6th week with a 30-minute response time. Scrubs are black and are not provided by the facility. Department-specific orientation will be provided. Candidates must be prepared for holiday and weekend shifts as required. Emergency and inpatient experience is essential. Performing CT scans with and without contrast is part of the job responsibilities.
