(R)(CT)(ARRT) or R.T. (R)(ARRT) - Advanced Certification in the modality of CT: Required in certain states, preferred in others - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification - Fluoroscopy license in state of employment - Venipuncture certification Must-Have: - Associates degree in Radiologic Technology - Experience in operating computed tomography (CT) equipment Description: Operates computed tomography (CT) equipment. Produces cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs, and tissue. These images are used to diagnose medical conditions. Performs a variety of imaging procedures, including general radiography and fluoroscopy. Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates care for patients of various ages. Produces sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation. Uses PACS and teleradiology system to transfer images to the appropriate location. Maintains accurate records and files. Ensures the integrity of patient medical images and data. Adheres to patient confidentiality guidelines and regulations. Performs routine maintenance and calibration of equipment. Manages supply inventory. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
