Job Title: CT Technologist Profession: CT Technologist Specialty: Computed Tomography Duration: 11 Weeks Shift: 12-Hour Days (Tuesday-Friday) Hours per Shift: 40 hours per week Experience: 2 years License: Not Required Certifications: BLS (AHA), Certified CT Technologist - ARRT (CT) Must-Have: GE and Siemens experience preferred Description: Unit Notes: Hiring Process: Profile Review with Clinical Team, Interview with Unit Manager. Radius: 60 miles. Week of Orientation: Clinicians must be present for the week of orientation, even if initial modules are remote. Agency must provide traveler Rad Badge. Department: Radiology - CT. General Certification Requirements: BLS. Certifications/ARRT and other specialty certification requirements: ARRT CT. Department has five scanners/rooms. Travelers may be asked to float/cover outpatient areas. Common types of imaging/studies performed include a variety of CT scans and related job duties. Average number of scans/studies performed daily is approximately 25. Electronic Medical Records and/or Picture Archive & Communication System used is Epic and Fuji Synapse PACS. Department Equipment includes GE and Siemens. Radiology Supervisor or Lead Tech available. No Registered Radiology Assistants (RRA) are used. Radiologist is in-house. Starting IVs is required. Shifts and Scheduling: Self-scheduling and block scheduling are not allowed. Weekend Requirements: Yes. Holiday Requirements: Yes. No call or standby requirement. Scrub Color/Dress Code: Black scrubs. Department-specific orientation is provided. In cases of extreme need, employees may be asked to float within designated zones. Cancellation Policy: Facility can cancel up to four shifts for 13-week assignments and three shifts for assignments less than 13 weeks. Charting System: EPIC. BSN is not required. Trauma Level: 1.
