Job Title: CT Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: CT Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 1 year required; first-time travelers accepted License: State license required Certifications: ARRT CT, ARRT R, BLS Must-Have: - 1 year experience in CT - State license - ARRT CT certification - ARRT R certification - BLS certification Description: The CT Tech will be responsible for performing computed tomography scans on patients of all ages. Candidates should be comfortable with 3D rendering techniques and various types of scans, including abdominal, chest, and vascular studies. Experience with specific equipment such as Philips and Siemens systems is preferred. The position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, often handling patients in acute care settings. Floating within the unit may be required as needed. Weekend coverage is mandatory, including every other weekend. Holidays may also be required as scheduled. Compliance with safety protocols and administration of contrast media will be part of the responsibilities. Excellent patient care skills are essential, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse patient population.
