Job Title: CAT Scan Tech
Profession: Radiologic Technologist

Duration: 14 weeks
Shift: Night 12
Hours per Shift: 12 hours (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience and completion of one travel assignment
License: Active Maryland license
Certifications: ARRT registration required, CPR required
Description:
Schedule: Sunday - Tuesday, 7 PM - 7:30 AM.
Perform CT procedures and interact with radiologists, physicians, and nursing staff.
Counsel patients on the radiographic procedures to be performed.
Assist physician with biopsies and drainage.
Secure patient consent for the performance of intravenous injections.
Position patients on equipment.
Operate scanner and related equipment in the examination of patients.
Completion of an Associate's degree in radiologic technology or a closely related field and six months of previous experience is required.
Experience with Siemens scanners is preferred.
