Job Title: CT Technologist Profession: Radiologic Technologist Specialty: CT Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 10-Hour Nights, Every Other Weekend Hours per Shift: 40 hours per week Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Required Certifications: - BLS Certification - Certified CT Technologist - ARRT (CT) Verification - Certified Radiologic Technologist - ARRT (R) Verification - Fluoroscopy Must-Have: - 2 years of experience required; will consider first-time travelers Description: The position is in the Diagnostic Radiology department. Candidates must hold certifications in Rad Tech I or Rad Tech II with CT, BLS, ARRT, and Fluoroscopy as required through the state. Rad Tech II candidates must have CT experience. The Electronic Medical Record system used is Cerner. Equipment includes Philips iPatient 64 and Big Bore 16. The manager for this position is Tina, the Manager & Team Lead. Weekend requirements will be provided when candidates are submitted into the interview queue. Information regarding holiday expectations will be discussed during the interview process. Call needs will vary and will be addressed during the second interview. Scrubs are required in teal, unless going into the operating room, where scrubs are provided. Radiologists are in-house until 6 PM, then on-call. Shifts available include 8-hour, 10-hour, and 12-hour schedules. Specific shift information will be provided during the interview process. Onboarding will include 1-2 shifts of orientation in the department. Candidates will be working with patients in the operating room, emergency room, and both inpatient and outpatient settings. Cancellation policy allows for the hospital to cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment. The charting system used is Cerner. This is an acute care setting. The trauma level is 3.
