Job Title: CT Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: CT Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1 year License: State license required Certifications: ARRT-R, ARRT-CT, BLS Must-Have: - Previous charge experience - Patient ratio experience - Charting system experience preferred - Community hospital experience preferred - Trauma Level I and II experience preferred - Travel experience required - Skills in 3D rendering, contrast administration, and various imaging techniques Description: The CT Tech will perform imaging procedures using established protocols. They will be responsible for patient preparation and safety. The tech will ensure quality control of images. They will assist with patient positioning and comfort. Knowledge of radiation safety standards is necessary. The position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle emergency procedures. Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams is essential. Weekend shifts and holidays are required as scheduled. Floating within the specialty may be required. Candidates must be comfortable with pediatric and adult patients. The tech must have strong communication skills and a patient-centric approach. Familiarity with charting systems, such as Epic, is preferred.
