Key Responsibilities- Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs, and tissue for diagnostic purposes
- Perform a variety of imaging procedures including general radiography and fluoroscopy
- Produce sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation
- Use PACS and teleradiology systems to accurately transfer images to appropriate locations
- Maintain accurate records, files, and billing information while adhering to HIPAA and patient confidentiality guidelines
- Perform routine maintenance and calibration of equipment and manage supply inventory
Required Qualifications- ARRT Registration: R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) or R.T. (R)(ARRT) required
- California Radiologic Tech (RT) state license required
- Advanced Certification in CT modality preferred in CA
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor required
- Fluoroscopy license required in CA if operating fluoroscopy equipment
- Venipuncture certification required in CA if performing venipuncture to administer contrast materials
Preferred Experience / Skills- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology
- At least two years of recent experience in CT or related imaging field
- Experience with PACS and teleradiology systems
