CT Technologist (Computed Tomography)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform CT and X-Ray imaging procedures across a range of patient types, including ER patients, virtual colonography, and gated procedures
• Operate multiple CT scanner platforms within the department
• Handle a volume of approximately 10–20 scans per shift depending on assignment, with evening shifts being the busiest
• Utilize Cerner EMR and McKesson PACS systems for imaging documentation and management
• Float within the Radiology department as needed
• Participate in holiday and weekend rotation schedules

Required Qualifications

• Active California Radiologic Technology license required
• ARRT certification in Radiography (ARRT-R) required
• ARRT certification in Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT) required
• Current BLS certification required
• Fluoroscopy permit required
• Demonstrated experience with both CT and X-Ray imaging

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Siemens and GE CT scanner platforms
• Familiarity with Cerner EMR and McKesson PACS
• Experience working with ER patient populations and general CT procedures
