Job Summary:
The CT technologist will demonstrate professionalism and service excellence while performing various tasks, including obtaining necessary medical, surgical, and radiological supplies, maintaining sterility of field and instruments, and preparing requisitions. They will communicate effectively with patients and families to alleviate anxiety while maintaining privacy and dignity. The technologist will adhere to HIPAA regulations, verify patient identification, observe patient conditions before and after contrast injections, and report any sudden changes to the nursing staff and Radiologist. Additional responsibilities include maintaining adequate supplies, cleaning equipment, coordinating emergent and unscheduled procedures, and ensuring patient transport post-procedure. The technologist will also adhere to venipuncture and power injector protocols, maintain QA/QC requirements, and notify radiologists of unusual findings to provide optimal patient care.

Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma/GED
- Completion of a Radiographer Technical training program from a School of Radiography or College-based Radiography program
- ARRT RT (R)
- ARRT RT (CT)
- NJDEP – New Jersey State X-Ray License
- BLS Certification
