Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced CVICU RN for a night shift position requiring PA or compact RN licensure and NIHSS certification.

Details

  • Work in the Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) unit
  • Night shift schedule of 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM to 7:30 AM) totaling 36 hours per week
  • Required to work every other weekend
  • Floating required to other like critical care units, including Hampden Medical Center
  • No on-call responsibilities

Requirements

  • Active RN license (PA or Compact) currently in hand
  • Current certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
  • Prior CVICU nursing experience required
  • Fingerprinting required prior to start

Additional Information

  • Provide critical care nursing to cardiovascular ICU patients
  • Tobacco-free campus and substance abuse/drug-free workplace policy in effect
  • Local candidates within 50 miles are accepted at a different pay rate
