Join a leading acute-care hospital as an Operating Room Registered Nurse in Seattle, WA. This contract position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on patient-centered care. We are seeking a dedicated and skilled RN with experience in the Operating Room to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Function as charge nurse for the night shift, overseeing operations and scheduling cases.
• Set up rooms for the following day when no cases are scheduled.
• Ensure on-time starts for first cases, contributing to departmental goals.
• Float to other ORs as needed, although floating to other facilities is highly unlikely.

Requirements:

• 2 years of experience in the Operating Room.
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and CNOR preferred.
• Independent and organized with travel experience.
• Knowledgeable in scheduling OR cases.
• Experience in thoracic and vascular cases is mandatory for independent call coverage.

This role does not require clinicians to take call during night shifts, and weekend coverage may be necessary to meet department needs. Candidates who have been separated from any other providence facility for at least 3 months are eligible for this travel contract.
