Join a leading acute-care hospital as a CVOR Registered Nurse in Indianapolis, IN. This contract position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, scrubbing CV cases and providing essential care to patients undergoing heart and lung procedures.

Position / Specialty: CVOR RN - Scrubbing CV cases are required. Charge pay is now being offered.

Requirements:

• Years of Experience: 2 years required; first timers accepted with Level I Trauma experience.
• Certifications Required: BLS.
• Local Candidates: Yes, any IN resident will receive $15 off the bill rate.
• Call Requirement: Approximately 100 hours every 6 weeks; 1 call weekend per 6 weeks (Friday evening to Monday morning).
• Float Requirement: Yes, to other OR specialties.
• Pending License: Accepted; must have IN, compact, or IN temp license in hand prior to start.
• RTO Restrictions: Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays.
• Guaranteed Hours: 8 and 10-hour shifts - 40 hours in one workweek; 3, 12-hour shifts - 36 hours in one workweek; 4, 12-hour shifts - 48 hours in one workweek.
• Special Requirements: Experience with heart & lung transplants, aortic dissections, and ECMO is preferred.

Effective 11/30/2024, IN RNs will not be allowed to work at this facility, with exceptions for Periop/OR RNs, Allied and Ambulatory RN travelers. IN travelers are permitted to work past the 11/30 deadline.
