Join a leading acute-care hospital as a CVOR Registered Nurse in St. Louis, MO! We are seeking a dedicated and experienced RN to provide exceptional care in our cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgery department. This is a contract position with a focus on circulating during procedures, and scrub skills are highly preferred but not required for the day shift.

Key Responsibilities:

• Circulate cardiac, thoracic, and vascular procedures.
• Perform as needed within the scope of practice to meet facility needs.
• Participate in on-call shifts as required, typically 3-4 weekdays and 1-2 weekends per 6-week schedule.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of CVOR experience required; will consider 1 year if from a Level 1 trauma facility.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• BSN preferred.
• Ability to float within the service line as needed.
• Must live at least 75 miles from the facility.

This facility is a Short-Term Acute Care Teaching Hospital with a Level I Trauma designation, featuring a total of 1,266 staffed beds. The hospital utilizes EPIC for charting and offers monthly parking passes for travelers. For orientation, parking is available at Laclede Garage for a fee.
