Description

American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for a Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU night shift position requiring 2+ years of recent pediatric ICU experience and prior travel assignment history.

Details

• Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU (CVPICU) unit within a Level I Pediatrics Trauma Center
• 13-week assignment on night shift, 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 7:00
• Weekend shifts required as needed
• Weekend block scheduling may be considered upon discussion during interview
• May float between like units and campuses within a 20-mile radius
• Floating between campuses outside this radius is rare unless specified

Requirements

• Active RN license in-state or compact RN license compliant with NLC guidelines required, no pending licensure accepted
• Minimum 2 years of recent pediatric ICU experience required, 3+ years preferred
• At least 1 completed prior travel assignment required
• BSN preferred
• Cerner EMR experience preferred
• Copy of driver's license required for consideration
• Vaccination status must be disclosed for consideration
• Documented renewal plan required if certifications will expire during the assignment

Additional Information

• Provide critical care nursing to pediatric cardiovascular patients in a Level I Pediatrics Trauma Center
• If Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's all fall within the assignment, must be willing to work 2 of the 3 holidays
• If only 2 of these holidays fall within the assignment, must be willing to work at least 1
• All requested time off must be submitted at time of application and will not be honored if requested after an offer is made
• First-time travelers are not accepted for this role
• Former permanent staff or travelers must be separated from the facility for at least 1 year before returning
• Local candidates must reside at least 100 miles from the facility to be considered
