Position: Sonographer – Adult Echocardiography / TAVR $$SN$$
Location: Morristown, New Jersey
Shift: Days – 4x10s (Thursday–Sunday, 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
Duration: 13 weeks
Job Duties
- Perform high-quality Adult Echocardiography studies according to ASE and IAC guidelines.
- Prepare patients for examinations, explain procedures, and ensure patient comfort throughout the exam.
- Perform TTE studies, including pre-TAVR evaluations for patients with severe to critical aortic stenosis.
- Carefully review patient charts, previous reports, and imaging before performing examinations.
- Demonstrate strong proficiency in valvular assessment, spectral Doppler, and Pedoff imaging.
- Perform contrast echocardiography and agitated saline studies.
- Recognize abnormalities and respond appropriately to critical findings.
- Ensure complete and technically accurate studies and notify interpreting physicians of relevant findings.
- Maintain accurate records and logs of completed examinations.
- Maintain equipment, inventory, and supplies within the assigned area.
