Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department (ER) in Little Rock, AR. This contract position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a high-acuity environment with a diverse patient population. You will be part of a dedicated team providing essential care in a Level I trauma center.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department.
• Assess and monitor patient conditions, implementing appropriate interventions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using the Epic system.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, with at least 2 years in Emergency Department settings.
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC.
• Preferred certifications: CEN or TCRN.
• Experience in a teaching hospital is preferred.
• Ability to handle high-acuity situations and work in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Information:

• Patient nurse ratio of 1:3-4, adjustable for ICU care.
• Weekend requirements: Every third weekend.
• Holiday requirements: 2 winter, 1 summer.
• Comprehensive Stroke Certification and high-risk cardiac protocols in place.
• Special equipment includes Alaris IV pumps, EVD, and ventilators.
