Join a leading acute-care hospital as an ER Registered Nurse in Randallstown, MD. This contract position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic Emergency Department (ED) environment, providing critical care to patients of all ages. As a vital member of the healthcare team, you will support both urgent and critical care needs, and contribute to the overall well-being of patients.

The Emergency Department is a 54-bed unit that averages approximately 120 visits per day, treating neonatal, infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. The facility is recognized as a Primary Stroke Center with Gold Plus recognition from the American Heart Association and is equipped to handle STEMI patients requiring cardiac catheterization intervention.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care in the Emergency Department.
• Support two locked Behavioral Health units with a patient ratio of 1:6.
• Float between like units as needed, including rapid evaluation units.
• Ensure holiday coverage and manage time-off requests in accordance with facility policies.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of Emergency Department experience required; 2 years of Level I or Level II trauma experience may be considered.
• ACLS, BLS, NIH, and PALS certifications are required.
• Experience in precepting and training is preferred.
• Maryland or compact RN license required upon submission.

Scrub color is navy blue, and the charting system used is Cerner, with FirstNet and Launch. Local candidates are welcome to apply.
