Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Ohio
• Current CPR certification required
• At least 1 year of nursing experience required; Emergency Room or acute care experience strongly preferred
• Associate degree in Nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and multitasking skills
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-focused emergency care setting

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care using the nursing process
• Deliver safe, accurate medication administration and perform ordered treatments
• Monitor patient status closely and promptly notify the physician of changes or concerns
• Provide clear patient education and support to families throughout the care process
• Document care thoroughly, accurately, and in a timely manner
• Maintain readiness of equipment and supplies and report any issues as needed
• Support co-workers and contribute to a positive, patient-centered emergency department environment
