Description

American Traveler is hiring a Travel RN for a Level III Trauma Emergency Department requiring TNCC certification and at least 2 years of ED experience.

Details

• Level III Trauma Emergency Department with 20 beds
• Patient ratio of 4:1
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Scheduled to work every other weekend
• No floating required
• Supported by unit secretaries and paramedic recepting staff
• Uses Meditech documentation system
• Performs procedures such as chest tubes and central lines

Requirements

• Active TN or compact RN license required
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and ENPC certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of ED experience required
• Strong bedside manner preferred
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Provide emergency care in a Level III Trauma setting equipped with all necessary trauma equipment
• Black scrubs required as part of dress code
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates are not accepted
