Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department night shift position requiring an active OH or compact RN license and ACLS/PALS certification.

Details

• Emergency Department setting
• Night shift schedule, 7PM-7:30AM
• 13-week assignment length
• Weekend requirement of 5 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule

Requirements

• Active OH or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Associate degree in nursing required; Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and critical thinking skills

Additional Information

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individual patient care using the nursing process
• Provide patient and family education from admission through discharge
• Administer medications and perform treatments accurately and safely
• Document nursing care thoroughly, concisely, and accurately
• Notify physicians of pertinent patient status changes
• Ensure equipment and supplies are available and report malfunctions as needed
