GLC On-The-Go is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Tucson, Arizona.
The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Emergency Department holds shift accountability for providing care to Emergency Room patients by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and facility policy and procedures. The registered nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in the anticipation and planning for the safe delivery of care to patients in the Emergency Department. This role maintains clinical competencies through continuing education, delegates patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of the staff available, and provides direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care.
**Will Consider 48-hr. Guarantee**. The facility has 38 beds and requires a minimum of 2 years of experience. The following certifications are required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and an active Arizona License. Experience with Cerner EMR is preferred. The dress code for this position includes black scrubs.
Preferred qualifications include charge nurse experience, which offers an additional $3/hr. Candidates must be willing to float as needed. The facility is a Trauma Level III center and is certified for Stroke and STEMI receiving. NIH certification is not required but is recommended.
