Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced adult community emergency department with approximately 25,000 annual visits and 16 beds
• Manage a patient ratio of 1:3–4, with a high admission rate and top diagnoses including stroke, STEMI, sepsis, respiratory and cardiac conditions, and orthopedic cases
• Perform and manage IV insertion and PICC/Central Line management
• Perform cardiac skills including 12-lead EKG acquisition, telemetry interpretation, cardioversion, and defibrillation
• Manage airway interventions including procedural sedation, CPAP/BiPAP, ventilator management, and trach care
• Deliver outstanding customer service and contribute to a collaborative team environment

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Missouri or compact eligibility
• Strong Emergency Department clinical skills
• Proficiency in IV insertion and PICC/Central Line management
• Competency in cardiac monitoring, 12-lead EKG, cardioversion, and defibrillation
• Competency in procedural sedation, CPAP/BiPAP, ventilator management, and trach care

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 3–5 years of Emergency Department nursing experience preferred
• Experience with behavioral health patients and chemical dependency
• Familiarity with trauma or pediatric emergency cases (minimal volume expected in this setting)
