Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department (ER) in Little Rock, AR. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing care plans as necessary.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using the Epic system.
• Participate in patient education and support initiatives.

Requirements:

• 2 years of clinical experience required, with a minimum of 2 years in the Emergency Department or similar high-acuity setting.
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC.
• Preferred certifications: CEN or TCRN.
• Experience in a Level I trauma center is preferred.
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts (6:30 PM - 6:30 AM).
• Weekend requirements: Every third weekend.
• No call required.

Unit Information:

• Level I Trauma Center with a comprehensive stroke certification.
• Patient population includes high-acuity cases such as CVA, STEMI, and psychiatric emergencies.
• Staffing ratio: 1:3-4, adjusted for ICU care as necessary.
• Special equipment includes Alaris IV pumps, EVD, Camino, transvenous pacer, chest tubes, art lines, and ventilators.
• Respiratory therapy and anesthesia support available 24/7.
